What is Show Me Healthy Women?
It is a project to improve the quality of life in Missouri through the cure and elimination of breast and cervical cancers.
Mission Statement:
The Bureau of Cancer Control and the Show Me Healthy Women Program support quality screening, diagnostic and treatment services in accordance with current medical standards of care for breast and cervical cancers for all women in Missouri. This is achieved by education, community outreach, and resource development in partnership with public and private entities, communities, and citizens.
The Show Me Healthy Women Program provides:
- Free Mammograms
- Free Clinical Breast Exams
- Free Pelvic Exams
- Free Pap Tests
- Free Cholesterol Screenings - through the WiseWoman Program...More
You may qualify if...
- You live in Missouri
- You meet age requirements
- Eligible women age 50 to 64, receive a pelvic exam, Pap test, clinical breast exam and mammogram.
- Eligible women age 35 - 49, may receive a pelvic exam, Pap test and clinical breast exam or receive diagnostic services for abnormal breast or cervical exams and tests.
- Your family meets the income guidelines listed below:

Show Me Healthy Women eligibility is based on annual income. Short-term income figures (hourly, weekly, and monthly) should only be used to help establish annual income. |
Women with Medicaid, Medicare Part B or HMO Health Coverage are not eligible for Show Me Healthy Women.
